Building Business Credit

Building business credit takes time and careful planning. Many business owners underestimate the importance of building business credit and often start off their business by using their own personal credit, or implementing a "pay-as-you-go" system. Both strategies can be very costly
For small business owners, paying for things as you need them is a great way to stay out of debt but it’s not always practical. It can hinder growth and result in missed opportunities. Especially as it pertains to real estate investing, credit is often necessary to prepare properties for sale and it’s essential to building a good credit score. About the instructor:
Bob Tierney Born and raised in the Chicagoland area, Bob Tierney got his start in real estate as a remodeling contractor. Working in Oak Park, known for Frank Lloyd Wright’s home and studio, Bob had the opportunity to work on many of the beautiful Victorian homes that were built there around the turn of the last century. After working for and watching real estate investors make millions of dollars buying and rehabbing homes, he became interested in learning more about real estate investing. “If I could just fix and flip one home per year I would be able to add $40,000 to $50,000 in income to my life” he thought.
